Hey, I’m Trey Nickelson, Afternoon On-Air Personality at Glory 98.5, where you can catch me live weekdays from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m. Born and raised in Hartsville, I’ve got deep roots in the Pee Dee, and I’ve been a familiar voice on the radio for nearly 20 years.
My journey with Glory 98.5 started early literally. At just 8 years old, my mom brought me to the station where I had the chance to shadow radio legend Ollie Williams. That lit the spark. By 15, I was on air. By 17, I joined Cumulus Media, and I’ve been proudly rocking the mic ever since.
I hold degrees from both Florence-Darlington Technical College and Charleston Southern University’s Hans A. Nielsen School of Business, where I studied Human Resources Management and Business Management. But my real education came from years of connecting with people, building trust, and helping businesses grow their brands on-air and off.
Over the years, I’ve worn many hats Webmaster, Promotions Director, Midday Host you name it. But no matter the title, my mission has always been the same: connect people to powerful brands and make sure they feel seen, heard, and valued.
When I’m not on the air, you’ll probably find me near the water Myrtle Beach, Charleston, or anywhere I can kick back, swim, and try some new seafood, pasta, or pizza. I’m also a big fan of concerts, live music, and great vibes.
